 Addams Family
- Morticia
Last year my friends and I dressed as the Addams Family for
my Halloween party. I was Morticia, of course! This is the
costume that I used but I'm thinner than the costume picture
so I took it in tight at the bottom so I could have
Morticia's little walk.
There's a whole line of Addam's family
costumes so if you have enough people of the right sizes you
can do the whole family and go out as a big group. My friend
Chloe is short and tiny so she went as "Wednesday". Nicole
is about the same height as me so we dressed her up as "Grandmama".
Eric is tall and skinny so he was a natural for "Lurch", the
butler and Trent is a little shorter than me, "Gomez" is
shorter then "Morticia" so he did that costume. We also have
a friend who's a bit on the heavy side and he shaves his
head so he went as "Uncle Fester", we just had to cover up
his tattoos!
The "Morticia" costume is long, so I just
added a pair of black platform heels that I already had to
make me taller. I did a pale makeup on my face, chest and
hands because my skin is a bit tan. I did black shadow and
liner around my eyes, a bit of rose blush and red lipstick
and that was it. I added my own necklace, a thick black
ribbon with a red rhinestone encrusted bat to finish it off.
