HALLOWEEN RECIPES
These always
taste great, homemade of course, not the crappy pre-made
ones you can buy in a store. You can give these a Halloween
flare by using mini Halloween pans to press them into a
mold!
RICE CRISPY TREATS
These wonderful
snacks are a favorite for any holiday!
Ingredients:
3 tablespoons butter 4 cups miniature marshmallows
6 cups Rice Krispies®
Directions:
Melt
the butter in a large saucepan on a low heat. Once the
butter is melted, add the miniature marshmallows. We like to
use the small marshmallows rather than the large ones
because the are easier to melt and stir.
Stir until the mixture is
completely melted and remove from heat. Immediately mix in the Rice Crispy Cereal and stir until
combined.
Butter a pan. Most of the time you would use a square pan, like a brownie pan,
but for Halloween we like to use something a little more
festive, so we use a Jack O' Lantern shaped cake pan or mini
cake pans that come in skull, bat, tombstone and other
shapes and can be found at most mass retailers during the
Halloween season. Spread mixture evenly in the pan. Allow to cool and cut
into squares.
